Teamwork DLO

Yesterday afternoon Savelina, Brooklyn, Viva and I took photos on how we can show leadership next year. We chose three things that we can do next year to show that we are leaders. The three things we chose were motivating others, making sure everyone knows what to do and getting involved. This was a great opportunity to co-operate with the people in my class. This is what we think teamwork should look like in Panmure Bridge School. 

Political Parties

A few days ago our class was looking at political parties here in New Zealand. Nazella, Savelina, Brooklyn and I worked together to create a slide show about Helen Clark and what she did as a prime minister. We used our smart searching skills to find out facts and more about this important lady. We have done this to our best of our ability.  Fun fact about Helen Clark. She was the 5th longest prime minister to stay in parliament. She cares about people and has always has a positive smile. This was apart of the elections that are coming the Saturday.

New Tech Rotation!

Today at Tamaki College we finally started our new tech rotation for this term. We made Oreo milkshakes. Savelina, sky and I were one group. We all had job to pro fill. Savelina's job was to dry the dishes, Sky's job was to pack away the dishes and finally mine was to wash. We did a lot of measuring and mixing now this part was fun.  To finish off our milkshakes we had Mrs Heka our teacher put chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Before we could drink our delicious milkshake we had to clean up our mess that we made. If we did not clean up properly we had to clean again. Once we cleaned up properly we got to try our master pieces. I found making the milkshakes kind of confusing because of all of the different measurements but I still thought that they were yum. 

E-mail Etiquette

This afternoon I did an DLO on how to write an etiquette e-mail. I have put up tips on how to write and etiquette e-mail. My partner for this was Savelina. We sent a e-mail to each other on what our favourite part of the week was. And mine was actually netball practice on Monday last week because we all worked hard to win our first game and we did. Next time you want to write an etiquette e-mail remember to use these 5 points. Remember what goes on the internet stays on the internet.   

Dance Evaluation Movie Dance Group B

This morning Savelina, Sky, Jorja and I were finishing off our dance evaluation movie. Our dance has a lot of moves including shapes like triangles, squares and much much more. We are really proud of how our dance came out. Something that we would have to work on is making the shapes a little bit more sharp and always face the audience. This is how our dance came out.

This morning I did dance with group B. Savelina, Brooklyn and I worked together as a team to put together a master piece. We have used different shapes from triangles, squares and more. We need to work on making or moves look sharp and on point. I think that we have co-operated well while making this video. We are working on being in time with the beat and trying different  movements to make our dance go even longer. This is our way of success. 

Kokako lodge brochure

 Today I have been working on my brochure about Kokako lodge. In our brochure you will find facts about the Kokako lodge, the main information and more. I have been working on this with Savelina and Magenta. Did you know that the Kokako lodge was first established in 1990.   Today I completed a DLO with Magenta and Savelina. Our DLO is about the Kokako bird, in our DLO you will find out what they eat where they live and more! If you want to learn more about this unique bird you can either look it up on the internet or read what is right in front of you. Hope you enjoy reading our info graphic because you will never see another one like ours.

Today I was learning about the Kokako Bird. I completed this DLO with Magenta,Savelina and Brooklyn. We have come up with ideas from when we were at camp last week. In our DLO it will tell you about what they eat, what they look like and what type of bird they are. I hope you like our DLO because this took a long time.

Tinkercad at Technology

 

This morning LS2 went to tech. In my group we learnt how ton use Tinkercad. On Tnkercad you are the designer,we had to go before we could get started we had to sign up. After we were signed in we did lessons to get us ready for the challenges. Tinkercad was a little bit hard for me to do because it was a new app for me. I love tech a lot mostly because I learn something new every week
