In the middle block we did maths. for maths we had to do something called doubling and halving. We had to double or halve a number. For example if I had to half 100 it would be 50 then I would half 50 which would make 25 and the nearest decimal number would be 12.5. Soon I will have my thinking up on my blog. This was tricky but still very fun.
I was a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I was in Learning Space 2 and my teachers were Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

Similes!
This morning for writing we did similes. A Simile compares two things using the words 'like' or 'as. We had to match the animals with the simile that best describes them. For example I'm as busy as bee or you are as quiet as a mouse. This was very hard to work out but I think I got the hang of it at the end.

past, present and future
Today for writing we were learning about past, present and future tense. for example I broke something, this is broken and it will brake. these are all examples of past, present and future tenses. These are present tense words. Today's writing was interesting but still cool. Tuesday, 4 April 2017

Camp diary 2017
This afternoon I made my camp diary on a website called flipsnack. In this presentaion you will find out what I did on day one to four. If you don't already know we went to Kokako lodge for our 2017 camp. Making a flipsnack is really easy that anyone can do it.
